Tarot Card October 1, 2023
This week I drew the Strength card.
Iām using a deck that was gifted to me by my dear friend Karolinn, The Future Ancestor Tarot by Lexa Luna Studio.
The traditional image associated with the Strength card is a woman in a gown and wearing a crown of flowers, petting the head of a lion who is nuzzling against her legs. The card I drew is quieter.
A woman sits among greenery, her hands lifted toward a bird as it flies away from her, a gentle and somber expression on her face.
As you go into this week, remember that strength is not only found in boldness, in overcoming. It also resides in acceptance, in letting go. Though it does not take as much physical exertion to open your hands to the sky and allow a cherished thing to fly away as it does to tame a lion, it takes just as much strength. May you find it when you need it.
